Possible sources of Dark Matter
- Quantum Many Worlds
In the Many Worlds version of Quantum physics as was described
mathematically by Hugh Everett, the universe keeps spitting into
superpositions of itself. That means that there is an unlimited number of
parallel universes with all the other possible outcomes playing out in
them.
There could be a gravity effect (bleedover) between these parallel
universes. We can't see these parallel universes since they are orthogonal
to us (perpendicular in some unseen dimension), but we may feel their
presence in their gravity.
- Esoteric particles including supersymmetric particles
We haven't found all the particles of the Standard Model of physics. And
some of those particles that we have found interact with "our"
matter so rarely that they can pass right through the earth. If we have even
more supersymmetric particles, then there may be a sea of particles that
pass through us without interacting with us.
Possible sources of Dark Energy
- Antimatter
If antimatter is matter going backwards in time (one of the ways of
describing antimatter), how does antimatter respond to gravity?
Does antimatter fall into a gravity well in our time frame?
Does antimatter fall into a gravity well in its time frame?
How does it obey the law of gravity?
It is hard to make neutral antimatter, so we haven't been able to test the
effect of gravity on antimatter.
If antimatter falls into a gravity well in it's time, then all the
antimatter would have fallen into the universal gravity well in our past.
That sounds like the Big Bang. In our time (past and future) antimatter
would be falling out of the gravity well. So antimatter formed in the early
universe would fall away from the "center" of the universe
resulting in the expansion of the universe. This antimatter would still be
in the universe, still creating expansion. It does appear that a separation
of matter and antimatter has occurred. The matter would have been falling in
towards itself, in towards stars, galaxies, galactic clusters, and a small
universe. The antimatter has been falling away from the gravity centers of
stars, galaxies, and galactic clusters, and has been falling towards an
expanding universe.
